Going into this class, I did not have any expectations, but I was very nervous and a little bit scared. I’ve never taken a gun class and have only shot a gun in a few times in
my life when younger. The structure of this class and the way that it is taught was very comforting and brought a lot of of anxiety down. I learned so much and was so thankful for lady ammo and her ability to calm the nerves and be very thorough professional yet down to earth at the same time. I highly recommend this class. Our group of 4 took it as a private class because we were all so nervous, but I would not change one thing about it. I now feel ready to go to the range to practice to decide on any purchases we may make in the future. And also when we are ready, when we decide to take a concealed carry class, we will definitely be returning to lady ammo and woman with a weapon! Also please see my review on google.
This is my third time working with Latoya at the range to strengthen proficiency on with my weapons. Latoya is the best instructor, sharing her expertise with immense patience and skill. She will give you the necessary skills be a responsible, confident and skilled gun owner always keeping safety at the forefront. If you already own a firearm or are contemplating purchasing one Latoya is a great instructor for you to work with to ensure you are gaining the necessary skills to properly and effectively use your firearm.
I had such a great experience with Ms. Latoya. She is very knowledgeable, professional and has great energy. She makes you feel comfortable and I have learn alot in such a short time. I highly recommend this class to anyone who is a beginner or want to enhance their skills.
Had a great outing. Loved the choice of shooting other weapons before choosing to purchase my own personal handgun, and meeting other enthusiasts such as myself that are choosing to carry.
I had the distinct opportunity to attend Ms. Workman's Concealed Carry Handgun Class. What a treat. She was very professional yet personable, and organized yet flexible. She provided a vast amount of information but it was easy to understand and apply. With the knowledge imparted, it gave me comfort and assurance in applying with the laws while managing my gun: safety, storage, holsters, ammunition......the list goes on.
I would highly recommend her class to anyone not just wanting to get a certificate to get concealed permit, but anyone truly interest in being properly equipped and being proactive to protect themselves, but have fun in the training process.
This session was my first time ever handling a weapon and I was a little frighten but Latoya made me feel safe and comfortable with it. I learned a lot about a weapon with my first one on one session and I am looking forward to be in another session with her soon.

I love that the instructor is very professional. I also like that there wasn’t a lot of people in the class so we were able to ask questions and they were all answered. I highly recommend this class especially for ladies out there!
