The concealed carry handgun class is not an introductory firearm training course. If you are a new shooter, consider taking a private lesson or one of our basic classes before taking this course. Email or call us at 844-577-9929 to discuss your options.
This class teaches you the laws governing North Carolina regarding the use of deadly force, concealed carry statute, and where you can and cannot carry a concealed handgun. In addition, this class covers gun safety, the fundamentals of gun operation, marksmanship fundamentals, ammunition, carrying concealed safety issues, presentation techniques, and cleaning and maintenance. This is a group class open to men and women.
*Note: Must be a North Carolina resident for 30 days and 21 years old to qualify for Concealed Carry Handgun Permit in North Carolina.
This course is a minimum of 8 hours of instruction plus the range qualification. The range qualification is a minimum of 30 rounds with 10 rounds fired from each of the following distances: 3 yards, 5 yards, and 7 yards.

*Please let us know prior to class if you will need to rent a firearm. Ammunition is available for purchase at the range.
I would suggest anyone that has handgun experience some to a lot take this class when ready to conceal.
I would also suggest a novice firearm user should take Latoya’s one on one sessions, they helps you become more confident with using a firearm along with gun safety. Phenomenal teacher,Thanks Latoya!

I had the absolute pleasure of completing the NC Concealed Carry Handgun Training with LaToya "Lady Ammo" Workman today!!! This class was exceeded my expectations and then some. Latoya is awesome, the class was awesome, the training was awesome, even going to the range was AWESOME!!! It was a long day, but it was most definitely worth it. This is my 2nd class with WWAW and will be looking forward to the next.
