Course Overview
This comprehensive class covers:
- North Carolina Laws: Understanding the laws surrounding the use of deadly force, concealed carry statutes, and where concealed carry is permitted or restricted.
- Gun Safety: Best practices for safe firearm handling.
- Firearm Fundamentals: Operation, maintenance, cleaning, and marksmanship basics.
- Concealed Carry Techniques: Safe carry practices, presentation techniques, and safety considerations.
This course is open to both men and women and includes a group learning environment.
Class Details

Duration: A minimum of 8 hours of instruction, plus range qualification.

Range Qualification:
- 30 rounds minimum:
- 10 rounds at 3 yards
- 10 rounds at 5 yards
- 10 rounds at 7 yards
- Note: A $40 fee applies if rescheduling or retaking the shooting qualification.

- No live ammunition is allowed in the classroom.

- Handgun
- 30 rounds of ammunition
- Two (2) magazines
- Eye & ear protection (electronic preferred)
- Close-toed shoes
Don’t own a firearm? If not add the CCH Firearm Rental to your order. This includes:
- Use of a firearm (22LR or 9mm will be provided)
- 30 rounds of ammunition
- Electronic ear protection
- Eye protection
I had the distinct opportunity to attend Ms. Workman's Concealed Carry Handgun Class. What a treat. She was very professional yet personable, and organized yet flexible. She provided a vast amount of information but it was easy to understand and apply. With the knowledge imparted, it gave me comfort and assurance in applying with the laws while managing my gun: safety, storage, holsters, ammunition......the list goes on.
I would highly recommend her class to anyone not just wanting to get a certificate to get concealed permit, but anyone truly interest in being properly equipped and being proactive to protect themselves, but have fun in the training process.
Lady Ammo is amazing. She teaches very well and sincerely cares about your learning, comfortability, and your safety. She creates a safe environment to ask questions. I will be registering for her additional courses.
I love that the instructor is very professional. I also like that there wasn’t a lot of people in the class so we were able to ask questions and they were all answered. I highly recommend this class especially for ladies out there!
