Our Team - Jason "Jay" Brown
Jay Brown spent eight years in the U.S. military, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant and operating as an EOD Team Leader. He deployed many times worldwide, including two combat tours supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). During his military tenure, he earned marksmanship qualifications for the rifle and pistol. He also worked for two years as a military contractor after his enlistment ended. He currently works as a counterterrorism specialist for the Department of Homeland Security.
Jay is an NRA-certified Pistol and Rifle instructor certified to teach concealed carry certification courses in North and South Carolina. He has been shooting regularly for over 20 years and has attended several courses, such as tactical and defensive rifle/pistol classes, to further his skillsets.
