This class is for women, taught by a woman! Learn the essential fundamentals to safe gun handling. We'll start in the classroom then move to the range to practice what you have learned. This is a great class for beginners or for those that need a refresher class.
Course Description
This beginner-friendly course introduces you to the fundamentals of responsible firearm ownership. You’ll learn:

The 4 universal firearm safety rules

Common types of handguns & how they work

Proper grip, stance, sight picture, and trigger control

Ammunition basics

How to reduce fear and build confidence handling a firearm

Secure gun storage & personal protection considerations
Two-Part Training Format
Due to Firepower’s upcoming closure, this class now includes:
1️⃣ Classroom Instruction

Day: Saturday (see dropdown for available dates)

Location: Charlotte, NC 28270 (address provided after registration)

Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
2️⃣ Live-Fire Range Session

Held at: Eagle Guns – Concord, NC

Scheduled separately (typically the following Monday or Wednesday evening)

Must be completed within 21 days of the classroom portion
