SC Concealed Weapon Permit (CWP) Class

The SC concealed carry weapon class is not an introductory firearm training course. If you are a new shooter, consider taking a private lesson or one of our basic classes before taking this course. Call us at 844-577-9929 to discuss options. 

This class teaches you the laws governing South Carolina regarding the use of deadly force, concealed carry statute, and where you can and cannot carry a concealed handgun. In addition, this class covers gun safety, the fundamentals of gun operation, marksmanship fundamentals, ammunition, carrying concealed safety issues, presentation techniques, and cleaning and maintenance. This is a group class open to everyone.

Upon completion of this course, you may apply to the State of South Carolina for a carry permit.

This course is a minimum of 5 hours of instruction plus range qualification. The range qualification is a minimum of 50 rounds with 10 rounds each fired at 3, 5, 7, and 10 yards and 5 rounds each fired at 12 & 15 yards.
