From a young age, April has dedicated her life to mastering martial arts. Starting her journey at six years old in Austin, Texas, she has achieved a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo from the prestigious World Tae Kwon Do Federation—a testament to her skill and dedication required for potential inclusion in the United States Olympic Team. With over 32 years of experience in multiple disciplines including Taekwondo, Aikido, Shotokan, Judo, Hapkido, and Boxing, April brings a rich blend of styles to her teaching. Her passion for empowering others through self-defense is evident in her enthusiastic coaching style, and she is eager to share her expertise and passion with you.
